Vaca y Toro, 2019
Body, Sand, Color Red, Rose, Wooden Palette
I am mining through traditions and social expectations placed upon me to find what really serves me. In this performance piece Vaca y Toro I am looking at womanhood and toxic masculinity, I am looking at what it means to have ancestors that were colonized and ancestors that were colonizers, I am looking at what it means to be a woman and something other than a woman and everything that exists in between.
